How to add a Module to 2017, or switch to a Non-Expired Evaluation license of Vectorworks

If you are adding a Module to your Vectorworks 2017 installation, or if you are moving from a non-expired Evaluation, here is a quick way to make it happen. Please follow these steps:
- Launch your current Vectorworks 2017 software.
- Go into the Vectorworks Preferences (under the Tools Menu>Options on a Windows computer, under the Vectorworks menu on a Mac)
- Choose the SESSION tab
- Click on the Serial Number button
- Highlight the number in the dialog that opens, and click REMOVE
- Click on the ADD button and paste in your new Vectorworks serial number.
- Close the dialogs and then QUIT Vectorworks.
- Restart Vectorworks. You will be asked to Activate it over the internet (as it is a new serial number). Click OK
- Once Vectorworks has relaunched, go to the HELP menu to Download Content. Download the additional content libraries that will now be made available to you.
