Issue:
An odd issue has appeared from some Spotlight 2018 Mac users... When trying to use the Soft Good tool, no actual Soft Goods object is created or the tool simply behaves strangely. This has been noticed after updating to SP2.
Solution:
To solve this
1) Quit Vectorworks
2) In the Finder simply navigate to the folder:
User/ Library (this folder will be hidden by default)/ Application Support/ Vectorworks/ 2018/ Plug-ins/
And delete the RuntimeCache folder.
3) Run Vectorworks again and the issue should be resolved.
Vectorworks Inc is aware of the issue and is actively working on a permanent solution.
