Please understand that not all versions of Vectorworks are compatible with all operating systems versions. This is because operating systems change over time and the internal components of those operating systems change. Each version of Vectorworks (and any application actually) relies on certain components of an operating system to be present for it to be installed and run properly. Without those components, an application may not be able to be installed and run properly. Changes to an operating system are beyond the scope of what Paxar or Vectorworks Inc has control over.


Note regarding new Mac operating systems at new versions of Vectorworks:

In the the last several years, new Mac operating systems have arrived essentially at the same time that a new version of Vectorworks arrives. Given this timing, it is important to understand that it will take some time for Vectorworks Inc to confirm compatibility with a new Mac OS. We highly recommend that Mac users wait to upgrade their operating system on any machine that will be running Vectorworks, especially a newly released version.
