All Professional Vectorworks licences purchased on their own (without the Vectorworks Service Select membership) include one full year of technical support in the purchase price.


Beyond that one year period, Paxar recommends that users search & browse through this technical support website for self-serve answers as those responses may serve your needs well. (The majority of the solutions featured on this website were created based on actual question from users, so it's very likely that your questions are already answered here.) We also recommend joining the Vectorworks Community Forum and searching its content as your solution may have been posted there.


If you are still not able to find your solution, you may submit a technical support request and our team will do our best to answer if the solution is known or easily sourced. However if the solution is not already known, please be aware that:

  • The time required to provide technical support for your older version of Vectorworks, if we even still have that version installed, may be subject to a chargeable hourly rate. This fee is to cover the efforts of our technical support team, which would be beyond the technical support that was included in your professional Vectorworks license purchase. 
  • The technical support team has the current version and previous version of Vectorworks installed. The technical support team may not have older versions of Vectorworks installed.


Vectorworks Service Select members: All Professional Vectorworks licenses purchased with a Vectorworks Service Select membership include priority technical support as long as the Service Select membership is in good standing.
